Bahrain National Anti-Doping Organisation (B-NADO) Explores Cooperation Opportunities with the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) and the Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU)

Mr. Saad Mubarak Alnefaie , Chief Executive Officer of the Bahrain National Officer Anti-Doping Organisation (BNADO), met with officials from the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) and representatives of the Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU).

This visit comes within the framework of the ongoing cooperation between the Bahrain National Anti-Doping Organisation and specialized international organisations, serving the desired goals of eliminating doping in sports.

During the meeting, the achievements of the Bahrain agency for this year were reviewed, strategic priorities were discussed, and areas of cooperation and exchange of expertise between the agency and the Integrity Unit were explored, as well as ways to develop and enhance them to broader levels in this field. Additionally, the organization ‘s experience in completing the requirements for the participation of Bahrain’s national teams’ athletes in the Paris 2024 Olympics was reviewed.

Representatives of the international organizations were also briefed on the preparations for the new headquarters of the BNADO , which is expected to be officially opened in October of this year.
