Bahrain National Anti-Doping Organization (BNADO) has been awarded accreditation by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) for its implementation of the International Standard. This follows successful audits to ensure compliance with the standards set by WADA. This achievement reinforces the commitment of Kingdom of Bahrain to combating doping and promoting clean sport
Dr. Khalid Abdulaziz Al Shaikh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of BNADO, stated that this achievement confirms BNADO’s commitment to the principles and objectives of anti-doping and its continued support for all efforts to combat doping at both the local and international levels. He added that this achievement would not have been possible without the support and guidance of the wise leadership and the tireless efforts of the executive body and its partners who contributed to enhancing the status of the Bahraini Organization.
Saad Mubarak Alnefaie, BNADO’s Chief Executive Officer, highlighted this international recognition obtained by the Organization confirms the ability of the executive body’s members to carry out their required role in promoting the spirit of competition in accordance with the principles of fair play and achieving its vision of a “doping-free Bahraini sport.”
