BNADO and BCDR Discuss Future Cooperation in Anti-Doping

The Bahrain National Anti-Doping Organisation (BNADO) and the Bahrain Chamber for Dispute Resolution (BCDR) held a joint meeting to explore avenues for future cooperation in the field of anti-doping, in a manner that safeguards Athletes’ rights through fair and transparent procedures. The meeting was attended by H.E. Mr. Saad Alnefaie, Chief Executive Officer of BNADO, alongside H.E. Mr. Ahmed Husain, Chief Executive Officer of BCDR.

The two sides discussed cooperation mechanisms grounded in the Chamber’s core jurisdiction over the appeals submitted by Athletes and Other Persons in cases involving Anti-Doping Rule Violations, in accordance with the International Standards and the Organisation’s rules. This guarantees their right to appeal decisions and to defend themselves through an independent and specialized judicial process.

The meeting reflects both parties’ commitment to promoting Clean Sport, protecting Athletes’ rights, and providing them with fair legal recourse in accordance with the law.
